Fall sweaters

I don't know, and I don't want to jinx anything, but I think that just maybe it might finally actually turn into fall around here. Believe me, I'm not complaining about getting to enjoy an extra week or two of warm weather, but with my deep love for autumn and all that goes along with it, I'm ready for cooler nights and fall treats and sweaters. Especially the sweaters.

Before I buy any sweaters or cast on for new projects, I have a truly great one on the needles that I need to finish up. According to Ravelry, I've been knitting this thing for so long that I can't even bring myself to admit how long on the Ravelry project page. I think that means I cast on in 2008 or 2009. Time to finish up! Only a sleeve and a half are left to go, and they're only 3/4 length sleeves, so I am determined to crank them out this weekend.

I mean, even the picture is outdated, because the body is still on the needles in this shot. I'm determined to get my act together so I can wear this beautiful thing. Look at the fantastic cables! Ignore the cat hair!
