***You know I'm a sucker for a gorgeous package, so here is a post from Smile and Wave's Home for the Holidays series that's all about prettifying and making the packaging part of the gift.
***Sparkly crochet hooks are just about the cutest idea for making your crafting supplies feel shiny and new, and Twinkie teamed up with Elsie to show us how it's done. I think adding rhinestones to a crochet hook might make it feel like I can craft a whole lot faster, a good thing since there aren't many knitting days left until Christmas!
***I took cupcakes (made from a box) on our fantastic yarn crawl yesterday, but I really wish I'd had time to make some of these Candy Cane cupcakes. They look so delicious over on Erin's blog!
***Heidi over at My Paper Crane rounded up a few of her favorite past holiday tutorials, and this one for making a trophy out of old toys and games is marvelous.

Those sparkly crochet hooks are pretty damn cute. Too bad it wouldn't work so well with knitting needles! :(
