This is the view out of my living room windows, overlooking a great little park. I love how the trees are all changing at different rates, so I have a collection of colors to look at.

By the way, I'm making the cupcake socks in a variation on last year's Through the Loops Socktober Mystery Sock. I've subbed in my own cuff, heel, and toe, but I think the stitch pattern works really well to break up the spiraling stripes of the yarn.
