ReStyle: Candle holders

Week three of Project ReStyle! I started with two Christmas candle holders, all wax removed after a little stay in the freezer.  I added scrapbook paper, coffee sleeves, yarn, buttons, and tape.

Tada! Finished and ready to hang out on the windowsill looking pretty.  The purple one actually went to live at Nicole's house, but the green is mine, and I have enjoyed using it so far.  I got a set of vanilla scented tea lights that I've been burning every night.

Today I'm wearing my Obsession sweater, so I'll be sure to take pictures that I can post tomorrow! Happy knitting :)

How cute! I love your reuse of coffee sleeves - green and clever!

That's a great idea, Allison! I just have a suggestion, though. Why not put holes in the coffee sleeves before wrapping them around the candle holder? That way, the light can come through the holes. My wife did just that in decorating our recycled glass candle containers, and the result was great. Our daughter loved it so much!
