Giveaway: Back to School Armwarmers!

Okay, lovelies,
I'm really feeling that back to school spirit, the excitement of planning out my schedule, getting all my school supplies and books in order, and adding a few toasty warm accessories to the wardrobe lineup. In honor of the cooler weather and changing leaves, I want to host a little giveaway here on the blog.

Custom knit cabled armwarmers in a color of your choice!
(check out all the color options over here at Knit Picks and get planning in case you win!)...

Here are some past examples of the kind of thing I'm talking about from my Etsy shop - these are all elbow length, but I could make them shorter (or longer) if you prefer. I can also use different cables (a regular twist instead of the u-shape), or make them with two colors striped together. Whatever you can dream up, I can probably make it happen.

To enter, complete the following easy steps:
1. Leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite thing about fall (1 entry).
2. If you mention this giveaway on your own blog, facebook, or twitter, leave a comment on this post with a link to your shoutout (up to 3 entries if you mention it on all three).

Leave your comments here by 12 midnight CST on Sunday September 12, and I'll use a random number generator to choose the winner on Monday morning. The winner will receive custom armwarmers as soon as I get the yarn in the color of your choice and knit them up to your specifications! Good luck to everyone :)

Allison, these arm warmers are so cute!

My favorite thing(s) about fall are the crisp air, the smell of leaves, many childhood memories of going back to school...the list could go on and on!

Those are gorgeous!! I have two favourite fall things. the first is wearing cozy sweaters and scarves again (such a lvoely feeling!), and the second is the food- I love the bountiful fall harvest of crisp apples, juicy pumpkins, and gravy suddenly makes a comeback after a summer of lighter fare. Delicious!

I LOVE these. I am always freezing and totally need a new pair of armwarmers- love the cable knit, too!

I don't know that I can narrow down my favorite thing about fall. I love sitting in front of the fireplace and hot cider and changing leaves and pumpkin picking and Thanksgiving!! I'm more than ready for fall. :D

Fave things about fall...where to begin?

Red, turning leaves, gold, pumpkin spice lattes, hot cocoa and whipped cream, apples, cool mornings, dreamy light, sweater weather, sock weather, thick soups, did I mention red and turning leaves? :)

The best part of Fall is COLOR! The rich stunning colors in New England will take your breath away. You'll have to come back during the first two weeks of October to see what I mean!!! You're always WELCOME. LOL Denise

Fall makes my head ring with nostalgia. Maybe it's that very distinct silence in the air, even when it's not exactly quiet out. The armwarmers are beautiful, they are already multitasking away in my head! I'm PurlVerde on Ravelry. I found your blog/contest on your about me page after you "friended" me today. Thanks for the awesome chance to win!

I love fall because the air is crisp and the sky is blue ;-)

Sorry I can't post on my blog because I'm running a profile of a new artist and it has to stay up for another week - but I would post if I could.

love Fall because my birthday is in October. I also love fall because it is a wonderful time of year; even though I know that we are heading towards colder weather, there is something so wonderful about a fall breeze.
