FO: Shooting Stockings

Disclaimer: Looking at these pictures now, it appears that the socks are two different lengths. I can promise you this is not actually true, and that they were just not pulled on with the same vim and vigor! You can see that the left is stretched a bit more :)

Pattern: Nancy Bush's Gentleman's Shooting Stockings (my Rav project page), from Knitting Vintage Socks
Yarn: Specialty Sock Yarn from Belfast Mini-Mills shop in Belfast, Prince Edward Island, 2 skeins in the navy and gray colorway
Needles: US1 dpns

Mods: I didn't do any calf shaping, and I used a simple stockinette heel flap.

Verdict: They are warm, soft, and perfect... for winter :) Knitterboi seems pleased, and that's a good thing since he chose both the yarn and the pattern. I have to say, he has a good eye. The bi-colored yarn really makes those purl sections pop, and the geometric pattern looks quite solid in this manly colorway. Success!
