Knit on US3s with KnitPicks Essentials sock yarn in Ash - I used 2 skeins but have lots leftover - using the Embossed Leaves sock pattern from the Winter IK; I really like this pattern, and I'm sure I'll be using it again... as soon as the yarn I ordered for my sock pal gets here later this week! I chose a really pretty blue/green combo, since she said she likes those colors, too, and I can't wait to get started.
Hope everyone else is having a lovely week so far. We just started Spring Quarter, so I've got exciting new classes, a new work schedule (more hours = more money, hooray!), and some new knitting in mind. I'll keep you updated!

yar! the socks are looking lovely. but in a piratey sort of way, of course. apologies in advance but i might be a day or two late mailing out your booty. (ok, that sounds real bad). there's a flu bug going around casa red beard so i may miss friday's mailing deadline in order to finish a few handmade projects over the weekend. if i do, sorry! but you haven't been forgotten by your pirate pal ~ she's just delinquent. (as any good pirate is).
