FO!

I'm really excited about this one!

Here is Evelyn Clark's Swallowtail Shawl in KnitPicks Gloss Lace, color Celery. I used about 5/6 of a skein and US4s. I actually knit the whole thing on straights, so it got a bit squishy at the end there, but it was a nice break from circulars and dpns, which I use for pretty much everything. I think the total time on needles was just under 2 weeks. It makes me feel brave enough to knit more lace.

Enough chatting, here are the pictures!

On the needles (a few repeats in, 4/8/09)

Off the needles (4/15/09)

Blocking (this picture is the most true color, and look! I knit nupps!)

Finished

Perfect!

Next time: Easter eggs and knitted bunnies

Gorgeous! I've just finished knitting a green swallowtail shawl, too- but I need to get off my butt and get some FO shots for the blog. Yours is stunning, and the colour looks amazing with your eyes!

It looks great - how fun to knit in a beautiful spring color while waiting for spring to show up around here :)
