Knit, knit, knit

This is what I have been doing for the last two days.

The body is finished. Sadly, the "loose" bind off is looking a little bit wonky, the whole thing seems a bit loose down at the bottom (sort of regretting actually following the pattern instructions for switching to a larger needle after the waist), and something is going to need to happen with that curly neck.  Maybe blocking will help?  I am going to continue to be in denial so I can complete the sleeves.  For now, here is a really cute cat enjoying couch cushions sans covers (they were in the wash).

I tend to use EZ's sewn bind off method whenever I bind off after garter stitch. It looks much more organic with the garter fabric and is plenty stretchy. Right now it looks to me like it just needs to be blocked. If you can't get that neckline to stop curling, I'd try blocking it inside out and pinning the neck down as it dries.

Thank you for the reassurance and the blocking tips! I may end up ripping back just through the garter stitch and doing the edging on a smaller needle.
