Fitness Goals: Update
I've been keeping up with my workouts, running 4x a week, mainly on the treadmill, but just last night I did my run out by the lake after dinner. For me, it's both easier and more difficult to run outside. All natural air conditioning from a lakeside breeze means I don't feel as hot and sweaty, but when the ground isn't actively moving on its own under my feet, it's way more tempting to get impatient and run at a faster-than-normal pace that I can't keep up or to slow down to a walk. Because this obstacle is entirely mental, I'm determined to conquer it. Once a week, until the weather drives me away from it, I'll be taking one of my runs outside. Wish me luck!

My other running goal is to redo my ipod playlist. Changing out the songs always results in a new burst of energy. Any suggestions for songs that are great for running?
Also, tangentially related to health and fitness, I just made delicious, fluffy scrambled eggs in the microwave. For a girl who hates doing dishes, this is a major revelation. I may never go back to my old ways. Want to try it yourself? Just mix two eggs up in a microwave safe bowl with some salt and pepper, microwave for 1 minute and stir, then microwave for another 1:15. Sprinkle some cheese on top for extra flavor. Yum.
