This is my seventh shawl for the 10 Shawls in 2010 challenge. I'm getting there, and I'm optimistic about my chances of finishing three more before the end of the year, especially since this only took a week and I have a bunch of flights coming up in November.
Pattern: Springtime Bandit, a free pattern from Kate Gagnon Osborn
Yarn: 1.6 skeins (about 344 yards) of Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock in Avondale
Needles: US 8 circular
My project page on Ravelry
Mods: I knit an extra repeat of the second (body) chart before starting the edging. This means I used up nearly all of my first ball of yarn before the edging, and I have less left over to put back in the yarn closet :)
Verdict: I love it! The colorway is a perfect blend of blues with just a little bit of green, it opened up beautifully after blocking, and it has a mostly straight outside edge (I didn't pull very hard on the points, as you can see in the blocking shot above, and I like the effect).
