Oh my!

It's already December, so I suppose I'm well overdue for an update, now!

Good thing I have quite a bit of news to share. I had a wonderful month full of visiting, sitting, and touring Chicago with various house guests, including my boyfriend and my sister at Thanksgiving, so I was busy busy busy and didn't get a chance to post about all the things I've been doing, though there are pictures I need to share with you.

For now, let's get a few items of business out of the way. There is a massive update over in my Etsy shop (http://perknitious.etsy.com/), just in time for holiday shoppers. I hope people like beanies... We're just starting to get really chilly weather here in Chicago after an almost balmy fall, so I thought it was time to put up the winter items. I've been working with a new kind of hat, just a regular beanie with a contrasting flower embellishment, and I really like all the results. Here are a few of the latest.

I've also just published another pattern over at Ravelry; the pdf is available for sale for $4.
Allow me to introduce the Inchworm Socks! They are knitted top-down on US1 dpns using a relatively simple pattern of knits and purls that results in a really great textured sock that is undulating in its unstretched state and geometric when stretched over the foot. I'm so happy with how these turned out and I'm pleased to share them :)

Look for more updates soon!
