FO: Nutkin Armwarmers

Last installation of green (ish) for Project Spectrum March and April -

The Spring Nutkins!

Pattern: Nutkin by Beth LaPensee (Ravelry link)

Yarn: Red Heart Heart & Sole self-striping sock yarn in Spring Stripe

Needles: US1 dpns

Mods: Fairly obvious - this sock pattern is really great, but I realized about 3 inches in that I would never get the hemmed cuff over my giant heel, so I switched to armwarmers. I think this pattern would look even better in a semi-solid yarn, but I don't mind the crazy, bright stripes. It's just the thing to counteract the rainy, gray weather we've been having outside this last week.

I'm looking forward to the May/June challenge of yellow. It's not a color I've ever really loved, but this is my chance to find some great shades that will change my mind.
