Socks...
Fortissima Colori Socka Color, #9096, a very plain sock pattern of 60 stitches and all stockinette except for a mistake rib cuff (which I'm actually not sure that I like - it's not quite tight enough). I love the color and I think these are going to be perfect Chicago-winter socks - thanks again, Secret Pal!
Remember my secret knitting project? Here is the cute recipient kindly showing off his new scarf... in weather that he tells me is more appropriate for shorts than knitted goods. Oh well, eventually it will be cold even back in California, right?
That's all I've got for today; it's back to the homework pile for me.

Fantastic Socktober socks! I love the color, too. I just discovered self-patterning sock yarn- so much fun working the stockinette and seeing what develops. Great scarf, too!
your secret pal socks are lovely! and they knit up super quick too which is always nice.
Beautiful socks and scarf!
Two finished projects in one post! They both look great.
Hey, you got the stripes to match! I can never do that. Did you do a short-row heel?
Great socks, good match!
Pretty socks! And you made them match! I love self-striping yarns, they make the socks look so much more complicated than they really are. And it impresses the pants off of non-knitters!
